Potentially The Next Single???
It might not be the next single, but it also might be. I haven't decided yet. I'm sticking to my guns on this one because it works right up my alley in terms of cinematic/orchestral. It's still instrumental, no words just pure emotion and story. I'm pouring my heart and soul into this one which is why it's taking so long!
There are work-in-progress titles in the air but you know me, I'm secretive and like to keep people guessing so that's what I'm going to do! It's sort of an evolutionary story going on behind this piece which will all be explained on Substack shortly after the actual release (which still isn't planned) so I won't go into detail here. With it being 'evolutionary', I'll be experimenting a little with the artwork so you can maybe expect something different to what you're used to!
The following are not planned releases. These are for far in the future and have been put on a temporary hiatus!
Unnamed Album/EP 1
So as to not reveal too much information since this is a VERY new project, I am creating an album; but not in the same genre as anything I have done before.
Since I started making and releasing music, I've wanted to create something in a heavier genre since that is pretty much all I listened to when I started. I've since widened my listening variety but I still feel like my goal(s) should be around a heavier genre, so that's where this collection will go!
There is currently no planned release date for this since recording and mixing this sort of genre takes time.
Unnamed Album/EP 2
Again, a very new project so I won't reveal too much but it will be in a similar genre to the one above.
I love making music with a piano and I've wanted to do more with piano sounds recently so I've been practicing like with any other instrument and seeing what I can make with it. This will be a slightly shorter collection than the one above but it's definitely in the works.
There is currently no planned release date for this.

The Patreon idea is very simple.
I recently found out that you can livestream to this website but put it behind your own paywall. I want to do that, but it got me thinking: "What would I stream there?" and "Would I ever actually use it?".
The answer to both is yes. Eventually. You see, I use Twitch to stream gameplay either solo or with friends as sort of a side-hussle (I'm not a full-time streamer) and I thought to myself "I want to do more music streams" and then the idea hit me:

So that is what I will use the not-yet-made Patreon site for in the future!

I'm a strong believer in the fact that music always has meaning, and when I set out on my musical journey I wanted to make that a reality. Each one of my songs has got some kind of meaning or story behind them especially with the cinematic/orchestral compositions.
With that in mind, I want to explain the pieces to you. It may not be everyone's thing to see what the actual meaning behind a song is; we add our own meanings after all for example how a song can possibly be associated with the happiest moment of your life regardless of genre or lyrics. But for those interested, I want to explain my thoughts behind each piece.
I will be using an old friend: Substack, to give you these explanations. I am currently revamping the old Arcanum's Photoness Substack page into something called 'The Void In Writing' where it will be split into two sections: One for my photography (Photoness) and one for general blog-style content like updates to this site, and the music meanings (there may or may not be a third section one day). The link is on the button below!
With me slowly but surely getting back into writing, I would at some point in the future like to get back into writing actual stories. Maybe not full-on books but maybe like a chapter a month based around an idea that I would come up with. My writing skills are zero-to-none which is why, when attempting this sort of project in the past, it all went down the drain very quickly. That and motivation and inspiration issues. But it's something I would like to pursue and I would probably use the ol' reliable Substack to publish this. I do want to gain a little something from that sort of project though so maybe (and this idea is just coming to me now as I am writing this) I write one chapter that is completely free to the world so as to give people a taster, and then charge for the rest of it. I'm not sure what the least amount I can charge people on Substack is but I'm sure I'll find out eventually. I don't want to charge people too much because my writing would probably not be too professionally done.
This is only a small idea at the moment, who knows if I'll put this into fruition if at all but thought I'd share anyway!
